A Wolf Craftsman's Path to Recovery
Ben Pitts, a Wolf employee, was in a serious motorcycle accident on Monday, September 21. Immediately after the accident, Ben Pitts was moved into critical care, while his family, colleagues and friends realized his recovery may be a very long process.
Then, when Wolf heard that Ben would not be covered by their new insurance plan given the time of the transition, Wolf made a bold decision to absorb a premium increase of $34,070.52 to remain with their current insurance provider and keep Ben insured. In addition, Wolf matched donations from Ben’s Go Fund Me account to ensure that all medical costs would be covered.
As Ben’s roommate, family and coworkers acknowledge, he is one of the most loving and caring people that they have ever met and wanted him to feel loved and supported.
